Fun outdoors!

Last week we went to the park to make dens with Mrs Hughes and Mrs Williams. We had great fun!

Everyone hold on, it's VERY windy!

Making twig skeletons – J4

skeletonblack and whiteJ4 are learning about the human body through forest schools. Today we are making twig skeletons. We visited Victoria Park to collect twigs, leaves, berries, daisies and conker shells. We have returned to school and are working in groups to make our skeletons, they are very impressive!

welcome to Forest Schools

This week in Forest Schools we have been very creative.

Year 4 have been busy making ‘Mud Soup’. We visited Victoria Park and gathered our ingredients. We found sticks, stones, leaves, snail shells, grass, twigs and moss to name but a few things. Next, we mixed it all up with a BIG ball of mud!!!!

Of course, it was important to write down the recipe so that others can enjoy making this delightful concoction! Year 4 came up with wonderful wow words to describe their ingredients.

We are looking forward to our next adventure next week!
